PURPOSE: To obtain the subject therapeutic agent, containing a specific compound, capable of manifesting excellent absorbability, more selectively interacting with a receptor of a cell adhesion active protein such as a fibrinogen and useful as a suppressant, etc., for blood platelet aggregation more improved in stability. CONSTITUTION: This therapeutic agent contain a compound of formula I (R is H or an ester; R is a lower alkoxy-substituted phenyl, 1-naphthyl or 2- naphthyl; A is CONH, OCH2 , OCH2 CH2 or CH2 CH2 ) [e.g. (2S)-3-(3-(4- amidinobenzoylamino)-propanoylaminio)-2-(3,4-dimethoxy) benzenesulfonylaminopropanoic acid trifluoroacetate] or its pharmaceutically permissible salt. Furthermore, the compound is preferably obtained by condensing, e.g. a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III using reaction for forming amide bond and then, as necessary, removing the protecting group or introducing an ester group thereinto.
