Summary:PURPOSE: To utilize solar heat, and prevent radiative cooling from occurring in the wintertime, to make use of radiative cooling and prevent incidence of solar heat in the summertime, and to maintain cooling or heating at a specified efficiency with a limited number of operating units even when the weather is unfavorable. CONSTITUTION: In an outdoor unit 11 of heat pump using air as heat source there are provided an outdoor-air intake port 12 through which outdoor air can be forcedly taken into an inside space, an opening 14 through which the air inside the inside space is discharged to the outside, a series of refrigerant coils 16 arranged at the opening 14 that is freely rotatable around a horizontal axis, and a specified screening cover 17 which is placed on one side of the refrigerant coils 16 and in a manner in which the passage of air from the inside space to the outside is maintained.
