Summary:PURPOSE: To avert the contact of agricultural products dropped from baskets and to prevent the flawing of the agricultural products by moving the agricultural products adjacent to each other in the container receiving sections on container transporting lines in such a manner that the spacings between each other are widened in both of their column and row directions. CONSTITUTION: The agricultural products, such as apples, are subjected to decision of grades and classes on a bucket transporting line 30. To which receiving sections 46 of which column of the container 20 of which container transporting line 32 the agricultural products are to be dropped is decided. The agricultural products are dropped onto the receiving sections 46 of the corresponding container 20 when the bucket is transported to a release position X. On the other hand, the container 20 is transported on the upper lines 23a of the container transporting line. The rods of the regulating cylinders are projected to regulate the contact with the projections of the receiving sections 46 of the second column at the time when the container moves to the corresponding agricultural product housing position Y. Then, the receiving sections 46 of the second and subsequent columns are stopped but the frame 45 itself of the container 20 advances by as much as the length of the through-holes of the second column together with the receiving sections 46 of the first column and stops at the position where the receiving sections 46 of the first column receive the agricultural products.
