Summary:PURPOSE: To provide an oil tank for an electric rotating machine bearing by which an oil level in a bearing oil tank can be prevented from fluctuating greatly, the oil level fluctuation in the bearing oil tank can be precisely grasped, and a normal function of an oil lifter can be accomplished. CONSTITUTION: In an oil tank, which is provided with a bearing oil tank 2 feeding oil to a thrust bearing 3 supporting a rotor freely rotationally, for an electric rotating machine bearing, an oil tank oil level stabilizing balance tank 1, which is communicated with the oil tank 2 via a pipe 7, is arranged on a level approximately with the height of an oil level position, which is achieved when a rotor remains stationary.
