Summary:PURPOSE: To surely transmit the event information of an agent system to a manager system. CONSTITUTION: At an agent system 100, a sequential number is applied for each of event information prepared from a managing object 10, stored in an event information managing file 17 and transmitted to a manager system 200. When a retransmission request is received, on the other hand, the event information after the requested number is retrieved from the event information managing file 17 and retransmitted. When the transmitted or retransmitted event information is acquired, at the manager system 200, the sequentiality of that number is inspected by collating it with the number of event information already stored in an event information managing file 25 and when the acquisition of event information is not missed, the event information is stored in the event information managing file 25, but when missing in the acquisition of event information is recognized, the retransmission of that acquisition missed event information is requested.
