Summary:PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of surely performing initializing operation. CONSTITUTION: When one motor 206 drives both an optical driving system and a lens driving system, the driving of the optical driving system and that of the lens driving system are switched by a controller 200 and a motor controlling part 205 drives and controls the motor 206. In the case where the optical driving system is driven in the first place by the initializing operation when the power source of the optical driving system and the lens driving system is turned on, the initializing operation is controlled so as to be performed after the optical driving system is surely driven in a specified direction.
