Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a message repeater capable of performing relay even when transmission protocols and message formats are different by providing a control means for controlling the relay of a message based on the contents of a management means for managing the state of a server. CONSTITUTION: This message repeater 2 is present between a client 1 for sending out a request message and the server 3 for receiving the contents of the request message and sending out a response message to the request message and relays the messages. The repeater 2 is provided with the management means 21 for managing the state of the server 3 and the control means 22 for controlling the relay of the message based on the contents of the management means 21. The management means 21 is provided with a corresponding dialog identification information storage means 211 for managing information for identifying the client 1 and the server 3 in one-to-one correspondence. As the result, even when communication protocols and the message formats are different, the relay is made possible.
