Summary:PURPOSE: To make talking and contact between a caller and a called party quickly and efficiently when the called party is resident in the vicinity of the portable terminal equipment by allowing the caller to make a request of the camp-on registration service even when a called party does not reply due to the absence. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal equipment 4 possessed by a called party subjected to camp-on registration by a caller is provided with a detection means 413 detecting vibration. When vibration is provided to the portable terminal equipment 4 by allowing the called party to carry the portable telephone set 413, it is regarded that the called party is resident in the vicinity of the portable information terminal equipment 4 through the detection of vibration by the detection means 413, the speech of both the parties is connected automatically based on camp-on registration information to be led to the speech state quickly and efficiently.
