Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a holding member of a coated optical fiber juncture which is installable even in a narrow housing space and is stowable even in a connecting box of a small bottom area. CONSTITUTION: An extra length holding part 20 is provided with an extra length holding plate 26. An inlet side extra length housing case 21A for housing extra lengths 4 on the inlet side of the juncture 3 and an outlet side extra length housing case 21B for housing the extra lengths on the outlet side are laminated and integrated on this extra length holding plate 26. A juncture holding part 30 is provided with a juncture holder 31 for holding the juncture 3 and this juncture holder 31 is removably housed in a recessed groove part 27 formed in the extra length holding plat 26 of the extra length holding part.
