Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a communication disrupter for controlling Panclemis heparana with the application of agrochemicals reduced or in the crop culture without application of agrochemicals and provide a very high-efficient method of controlling Panclemis heparana by their communication disruption. CONSTITUTION: Panclemis heparana is effectively controlled using (Z)-11- tetradecenyl acetate, a communication disrupter to Panclemis heparana. This disrupter contains less than 1% of (E)-11-tetra-decenyl acetate, a geometric isomer of (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate, and is evaporated in the crop fields. The content of (E)-11-tetra-decenol is preferably 5% or less in the communication disrupter.
