Summary: | PURPOSE: To improve a turning characteristic according to the yawing rate of a vehicle and ensure the stability of control by providing a speed changing means to slide a movable sheave on the basis of an increase or decrease amount of change gear ratio from the change gear ratio determined by a change gear ratio determining means. CONSTITUTION: Feed-back control is performed to bring an actual yawing rate γr detected by a yawing rate sensor 41 close to a theoretical yawing rate γo obtained from a steering angle δf detected by a steering angle sensor 40 and car body speed V (Vf R/Vf L). Since movable sheaves 23, 24 of first and second pulleys are slid on the basis of a change gear ratio increase amount Δρ obtained from the feed-back control, moving torque ΔT is regulated between left and right wheels according to the change gear ratio increase or decrease amount Δρand a vehicle is turned with a satisfactory responce property according to the moving torque to improve turning characteristics. |
