Summary: | PURPOSE: To heat a picture forming soln. with a small amt. of heat, to shorten the rising time, to save electric power and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: A sponge 54 is brought into contact with a photosensitive material 22 and moved along a photosensitive material 22 on a stage 12 along with a tank 52, and hence water 58 is applied on the exposed photosensitive material 22. The water 58 is heated to >=40 deg.C, for example, to promote the swelling of the water 58 to the photosensitive material 22. The stage 12 is common to that for the heat development and transfer and heated to 60 deg.C. Consequently, the coating region 29 of the photosensitive material 22 is heated, the sponge 54 is brought into contact with the photosensitive material 21 to heat the water 58 flowing out from the sponge 54, and the water 58 discharged and applied on the photosensitive material 22 is heated. The water 58 to be applied on the photosensitive material 22 in the tank 22 can be kept at room temp. |
