PURPOSE: To efficiently take in surface water high in the concn. of dissolved oxygen without sucking air by guiding water into an intake chest from the intake opening part in the vicinity of the water surface of the lower part of a float to suck the same from the intake port in the intake chest. CONSTITUTION: An intake chest 2 is provided so as to be positioned under a water surface 11 at the lower part of a float 1 to position the intake port 4 of an intake pipe 5 so as not to always suck air. The water in the vicinity of the water surface 11 flows in the intake chest 2 from the opening part 3 of the intake chest 2. This water is sucked into the intake pipe 5 from the intake port 4 by a pump 6 to be circulated to the bottom of water from a piping hose 8 to improve the concn. of dissolved oxygen. This intake of water is performed from sufficient water depth not sucking air from the opening part 3 of the intake chest 2. Since the opening part 3 can be set to an arbitrary position, the intake of water in the vicinity of the water surface 11 becomes possible.
