Summary: | PURPOSE: To remove foreign matters adhering on a liquid crystal display glass substrate at high removal rate by well sticking the adhesive layer face of an adhesive tape on the foreign matters and then peeling it. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive tape 1 is stuck to the whole face of the surface 3a (and/or the rear face) of a liquid crystal display glass substrate 3 and an adhesive layer 12 face is well stuck to foreign matters 2 on the surface 3a of the adhesive layer 12. It is performed by such a method, for example, that after the adhesive tape 1 is pressed on the surface 3a by a hand roller, it is left for several minutes. After sticking it in this way, a peeling operation of peeling the adhesive tape 1 from its end is performed so that the foreign matters 2 on the surface 3a are adsorbed by the adhesive layer 12 surface and removed from the surface 3a. The removal rate reaches high value compared with not only the conventional dry cleaning but wet cleaning and the proposed conventionally proposed method of using an adhesive tape. |
