Summary:PURPOSE: To improve sealing properties by providing an elastic seal provided with a lip part to be brought in contact with a fixed part on the inner periphery of a seal case and a seal surface, a fluid passage extending to the outside diameter side from an inlet part opened on the fixed part upper end surface, and a discharging passage for communicating the fluid passage with the outside. CONSTITUTION: Liquid foreign matter R such as water entered from the outside to the bearing periphery is accumulated on an elastic seal 12 recessed part, however, they are not allowed to flow to a contact part of a lip part 12b1 with a seal surface 2a and allowed to flow into an input part A since the bottom of the input part A of a fluid passage 13 is positioned lower than the upper end surface of the lip part 12b1. The liquid foreign matter R allowed to flow from a plurality of radial input parts A is collected to a peripheral groove 13b through a cut groove 13a, allowed to flow into a discharging passage 3a, and allowed to flow down to the outside. Since the fluid passage 13 and a discharging passage 3a are both inclined downward, discharging of the liquid foreign matter R can be smoothly performed. The discharging of the liquid foreign matter R is further improved by centrifugal force, particularly in rotating of a bearing. Accordingly, sealing properties in relation to the fluid foreign matter can be improved.
