Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a middle-sized laying blocks which makes it possible to construct blocks with ease and hence eliminate the need for an unskilled practice and further eliminate the need for shell-filling and stand alone and moreover, which can be installed with a minimum labor and in a short period and layered on an inclined surface of a side slope of an erosion control dam or a river bank or the like. CONSTITUTION: Laying blocks 1 consist of a precast concrete one piece molded product comprising a rectangular block front board 2 and a rectangular block rear board 3 where the block board 3 is projected in the diagonal direction while the block rear board 3 is extended downwardly in the horizontal direction. The block front board 2 is upwardly projected in the horizontal direction. An engagement projected part 4 is formed on the upper end of the block front board 2 while an engagement recessed part 5 is formed on the lower end of the block front board 2. An engagement projected part 6 is vertically formed on the front surface in the overhanging part of the block rear board 3. A hanger fit-in hole for a hanger is bored respectively by one hole on both sides of the rear surface of the upper overhanging part of the front board 2.
