Summary:PURPOSE: To detect the intersection of a magnetic labeling and an object with high accuracy by moving a discrete point so as to minimize the sum of elastic energy, the image energy of a magnetic labeling part and a part other than that and external energy attached at need. CONSTITUTION: A contour sampling part 2 samples a contour from MR image data from an image input part 1, and a magnetic labeling corresponding point decision part 3 judges whether or not plural discrete points are magnetic labeling points. A magnetic labeling corresponding point verification part 4 verifies whether or not the magnetic labeling corresponding point is correct. A magnetic labeling point intersection detecting part 5 detects the intersection of the magnetic labeling and the contour of the object by moving the discrete point so as to minimize the sum of the elastic energy of the discrete point in accordance with the magnetic labeling, the image energy representing the characteristic of a magnetic labeling part of the discrete point in accordance with the magnetic labeling part, the image energy of the discrete point in accordance with the part other than the magnetic labeling, and the external energy attached at need.
