Summary: | PURPOSE: To provide a self-excited revolving field type synchronous power generation equipment wherein the burning of a field winding and excitation winding is prevented. CONSTITUTION: A resistor Rf for detecting field winding is connected in series to the field winding 8, while a temperature-sensitive resistance element Rt is connected in series to a resistor R7 of a voltage dividing circuit 2 which outputs the output voltage detection signal being proportional to the output voltage of an armature winding 4. The resistor Rf and the temperature-sensitive resistance element Rt are thermally connected, and when a field current exceeds allowable limits, a voltage division ratio of the voltage dividing circuit 22 is increased by increasing the resistance value of the temperature-sensitive resistance element Rt logarithmically. When the output voltage detection signal obtained from the voltage dividing circuit 22 exceeds the zener voltage of a zener diode ZD1, a transistor TR2 is put in an ON state, while a transistor TR1 is put in an OFF state and the supply of the field current from an excitation winding 3 to the field winding 8 is stopped. |
