Summary:PURPOSE: To ensure operation of a pressure switch even when used with pressure extremely slowly increased or decreased. CONSTITUTION: A pressure switch consists of a diaphragm 3 displaced with pressure from a pressure guide port, an electric contact, a quick break mechanism to open/close the electric contact and a rod 5 to transmit the displacement of the diaphragm 3 to the quick break mechanism. The pressure switch is provided with a lever (A) 11 to convert the straight movement of the rod 5 into the rotational displacement via a push spring 9 and a lever (B) 12 to open/close the electric contact via a movable contact element 14. The lever (A) 11 and the lever (B) 12 are supported on a base member 10 to be rotationally movable to the opposite side of the side of supporting a symmetrical torsion coil spring 13 and always rotationally energized in mutually opposite directions with the vertical component force (restoring force) of the symmetrical torsion coil spring 13.
