Summary:PURPOSE: To stabilize the flame of a candle by boring a longitudinal hole in the interior of a candle stand main body, and inserting a cylindrical hood made of a fire-proof glass in the longitudinal hole in such a manner as to freely elevate. CONSTITUTION: A window hole 3 is provided on the front of a candle stand main body 1 in such a manner as to be inserted in a longitudinal hole 2, and the longitudinal hole 2 is formed to be elliptic. A substantially cylindrical transparent hood 4 made of a fire-proof material, for example, fire-proof glass is inserted in the longitudinal hole 2 with a little clearance. A clip-type projecting piece 9 is removably fitted to the lower end of the hood 4, and a stopper 10 is removably fitted to the upper end thereof. The hood 4 is located in a position facing to the window hole 3 by bringing the projecting piece 9 of the lower end of the hood 4 into contact with the lower edge of the window frame 3, and at the time of lifting up the hood 4 by both side parts thereof with hands and fingers, the stopper 10 is brought into contact with the upper base of the longitudinal hole 2 to prevent the upper end of the hood 4 from being damaged. When the hood 4 is rotated to lock the projecting piece 9 in a hook hole 11, the hood 4 is located in its lifted-up state.
