CONSTITUTION: A detecting device 5, a ditch excavating device 6 and a cable laying device 7 are fitted to a machine body 4 provided with a travel device 3. At the time of burying a cable in a weak part, the rotary excavator 42 of the ditch excavating device 6 is oscillated upward. When the detecting arm 33 of the detecting device 5 comes in contact with a hard part, the rotary excavator 42 is oscillated downward to excavate a ditch in the hard part, and the cable is buried therein.
