Summary:PURPOSE: To prevent developer-image flow and to remarkably improve image quality obtained after transfer. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises: a photoreceptor 6, in the form of an endless belt, which runs by being stretched between a drive roller 2, an abutting roller 3 and a separation roller 4; an image-formation processing part 8 comprising a first electrifying charger 17, a laser optical system 18, and a developing device 21, which are disposed in that order along the running path of the photoreceptor 6; a recording sheet 11 supplied from a recording-sheet supply part 12; a cooling device 30; a transfer/separation mechanism 10; and a second electrifying charger 9 which is disposed between the image-formation processing part 8 and transrer part along the running path of the endless-belt photoreceptor 6, and electrifies the developer image, formed on the photoreceptor 6 by the developing device 21, into the same polarity as that of solid developer 23 from the side of the surface.
