Summary: | PURPOSE: To inexpensively detect the initial position of a motor with high accuracy with a small-sized recorder by detecting the initial position of the motor by driving the motor at a lower speed after the motor is driven at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: At the time of making power supply, etc., a processing means 1 drives a motor 3 to its initial position side at a prescribed high speed through a driving means 2. When a projection 41 collides with a stopper 42 and an encoder 8 stops the generation of pulses, the means 1 decides the position as a tentative initial position. Such a case sometimes happens that the motor is balanced at a slightly deviated position due to the rebound, etc., of the projection 41. When this case happens, the means 1 drives the motor 3 at a low speed toward the initial position by prescribed numbers of pulses and counts the signal of the encoder 8 in the minus direction of a counter 10. When the projection 41 rebounds in the returning direction due to the collision with the stopper 42, the means 1 counts the signal of the encoder 8 in the plus direction. When the returning amount of the projection 41 falls within a prescribed range, the means 1 decides the position as the zero point for recording by regarding the position as a proper second initial position. Thereafter, the means 1 moves a recording means 7 to a prescribed position for recording. |
