Summary:PURPOSE: To precisely get a contrast medium brightness-intensified image by easily executing the contrast echo method by injection into a vein, even if it is the section (myocardia, internal organs, etc.) where the influence of tissue echo from circumference is large. CONSTITUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic device is equipped with a probe 10, which can convert ultrasonic and electric signals in both directions with each other, and transmission means 20-23 which give the probe electric drive pulse signals substantially consisting of the excitation frequency of the fundamental wave components by reducing the level of nonfundamental wave components to the fundamental wave components. Furthermore, this is equipped with a receiving and processing means, which receives the electric echo signal outputted from the probe 10 and generates the image data related to the fundamental wave components and nonfundamental wave components from the echo signals, and display means 35 and 36 which indicate the image data.
