Summary:PURPOSE: To accurately judge the safety of a reactor core. CONSTITUTION: When an operation control section 63 judges the break point of a nuclear power plant 1 based on the operation history data, it replans the operation plan during the next break point based on the operation history data during the past break point, and it predicts the operation plan data and the planned value of the thermal restriction value. The operation of the nuclear power plant 1 is controlled based on the replanned operation plan data. A core state monitor section 53 calculates the limit value of the thermal restriction value from the replanned value of the thermal restriction value and the monitored width. The thermal restriction value of the core of the nuclear power plant 1 is calculated, and the thermal restriction value of the core is compared with the limit value of the thermal restriction value to monitor the core state.
