Summary: | PURPOSE: To reduce abrasion, and obtain high delivery efficiency by constituting an inner end part facing at least a compression space of a piston out of a double cylinder body composed of an inner cylinder part composed of a raw material having a small coefficient of linear expansion and an outer cylinder part composed of a raw material having solid lubricating ability in a pump to forcibly send liquid hydrogen by a hydrogen engine. CONSTITUTION: A part on the inner end side facing a compression space 12 of a piston 11 of a cryogenic pump is constituted of a double cylinder body 14 fixed to the tip of a piston shaft 13. This double cylinder body 14 is constituted of an inner cylinder part 15 composed of a raw material having a small coefficient of linear expansion and an outer cylinder part 16 composed of a raw material having solid lubricating ability, for example, polyimide resin impregnated with carbon grains. Since the inner cylinder part 15 on the tip side of an inner end part of this double cylinder 14 is formed in a reduced thickness, a thin part 17 is arranged in a prescribed length in the shaft direction, and a wide part 19 is formed in an outside part of this thin part 17. Therefore, the occurrence of gas compression reduction by frictional heat is prevented, and a leakage quantity from a clearance (h) is reduced, and high delivery efficiency is obtained. |
