Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain a coating film having high transparency and such satisfactory electric conductivity as to shield leakage electromagnetic waves from CRT by firing at a low temp. CONSTITUTION: Fine oxide particles of <=80nm average particle diameter are dispersed in a polar solvent for dispersion contg. N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and the resultant dispersion treating liq. is mixed with a polar solvent for dilution and a partial hydrolyzate of an alkyl silicate. Fine particles of indium oxide to which 1-15wt.% tin has been added are effectively used as the fine oxide particles.
