Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain a propylene random copolymer having excellent blocking resistance and very scarcely deteriorates in low-temperature heat sealability even when subjected to a corona discharge treatment and is also excellent in transparency and to obtain its laminated film. CONSTITUTION: This copolymer is one comprising a proplyene component and a 4-10C α-olefin component and having the following properties: the content of the α-olefin component is 6-40wt.%, the intrinsic viscosity [η] as measured in tetralin at 135 deg.C is in the range: 0.45<=[η]<=0.5dl/g, and the relationship: Tm<=140-35.693×log10 (CXS) may hold (Tm is the melting point as measured with a differential scanning calorieter, and CXS is the content of xylene-solubles at 20 deg.C; and a laminated film comprising this copolymer.
