Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a heating element capable of stably sliding paper without catching it by forming an enameled layer on the outer surface of a cylindrical tube or making the cylindrical tube itself with glass to make the outer surface coming into contact with a roller smooth so as not to have recesses and projections or pinholes. CONSTITUTION:A resistor layer 14 formed on the inner surface of a cylindrical tube 11 generates heat by current supplied from an electrode connected to the resistor layer 14. The heat of the resistor layer 14 is conducted to an enameled layer 12, the cylindrical tube 11, and an enameled layer 13 formed on the outer surface of the cylindrical tube 11 in order. At the same time, a sliding surface 16 of the enameled surface 13 on the outside of the cylindrical tube 11 and a roller 15 are rotated to transfer paper 17, and since the paper 17 is heated, toner image is melted and fixed on the paper 17. |
