PURPOSE: To provide a residual slag discharging device which dispenses with a dusts collecting hood, and efficiently collects the dust by providing a suction port of a dust collector so as to surround the passing position of the residual slag in the middle of the passing route of the residual slag in discharging the residual slag from a tundish. CONSTITUTION: A tundish is carried above a hole part 12 and opened back, and a throw-in port is regulated by an opening 34 to discharge the residual slag into a residual slag pot 80 through this opening 34. Opening/closing decks 16, 18 are hollow, and a number of suction ports 32, 32... are formed over the whole circumference on the inner side, and connected to a dust collector through extendable and contractable and bendable bellows hoses and ducts. The suction port 32 of the dust collector is formed surrounding the passing position of the residual slag from the slag discharging position of the tundish to the slag discharging pot 80. The dust generated by throwing the residual slag into the slag discharging pot 80 can be efficiently collected from the suction port 32 to greatly reduce the dust to be scattered outside.
