Summary: | PURPOSE: To provide a method for measuring a protein derived from a microorganism by which the protein of a coccoid rickettsia of the genus Chlamydia can species-specifically be determined with a high accuracy; a large amount of specimens can be treated without requiring special skill and a monoclonal antibody and a fused cell capable of producing the antibody can suitably be used therefor. CONSTITUTION: This method for measuring a protein derived from a microorganism having an elementary body is to measure the protein in a specimen sample according to a sandwich type immunoassay for using a monoclonal antibody specifically reactive with the protein of the microorganism having the elementary body as at least one antibody of an immobilized antibody and a labeled antibody. Furthermore, the monoclonal antibody and fused cell are used for the method. |
