Summary:PURPOSE: To connect a display element on the front side of a front panel and a lighting circuit board on the back side thereof by using a flexible substrate. CONSTITUTION: Many display elements 13 conducting the flexible substrate 23 backward are attached to the front panel 12 in a matrix state. A flexible substrate insertion hole 41 like a slot which the substrate 23 is inserted through is formed corresponding to the attaching position of the display element 13 on the panel 12. The lighting device connected with the substrate 23 is provided at the back of the panel 12. The hole 41 is formed so that the positions of the holes 41 adjacent in a longitudinal direction may be different. Thus, the strength of the front panel 12 is kept even in the case of using the flexible substrate 23.
