Summary:PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of manufacturing a wheel for a vehicle, whose rim width is not uniform, by integrally forming a rim raw material into a disc member, externally fitting and fixing an annular based seat member to this rim raw material, and forming a rim member through spinning formation of the rim raw member. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing a wheel (W) for a vehicle, an outer wall part 13, which inclines downward from a front-side periphery of a disc member 1 toward a rear-side periphery, is formed at a peripheral surface of the disc member 1. A front-side rim flange 21 of a rim member 2 is formed as an integrated body at the front-side periphery of the disc member 1, while a well part 22 of the rim member 2 is formed as a projected, integrated body at the rear-side periphery of the disc member 1. An annular, front-side bead seat member 3 is externally fitted to the periphery 13 of the disc member 1, and the member 3 is welded to the peripheries 31, 31 of the disc member 1. After this, the rim member 2 is formed through spinning formation of a rim raw material, and an excessive tip part of the rim raw material is cut off.
