Summary:PURPOSE:To provide the computer system for using any specified position indicator only with any specified software. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a software means 23 for recognizing the specified software based on identification information showing the correspondence of the specified position indicator to the specified software by providing an identification information generating means for generating that identification information at that specified position indicator, software starting means 25 for starting the specified software and software selecting means 26 for selectively inputting various kinds of information outputted from the main body of a position detector only to the specified software while using the specified position indicator. Thus, the specified position indicator can be used only by the specified software.
