Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a plane light guide circuit capable of being easily roughly aligned. CONSTITUTION: The plane light guide circuit 11 with a positioning marker is constituted by providing a light guide 15 for the marker to an underclad 13 on a substrate 17 across a core part 13 and providing an overclad 14 on it. Marker light is made incident from an input part 15 on the flank of the plane light guide circuit 11, projected from an end surface 16A of the light guide for the positioning marker, and made incident on the core part of a fiber block array gripped on an aligning device, thus performing alignment.
