Summary:PURPOSE: To simplify sigmoid correction on video signals with different aspect ratios and to easily change the sigmoid shape. CONSTITUTION: In a feedback circuit 1 which receives output from a vertical deflecting coil 5 and feedback-connected to a drive circuit 3 or an oscillation circuit 2, the sigmoid correction is applied to the waveform of a sawtooth current by changing a time constant by the product of the capacitance value and the resistance value. A converter 7 which discriminates the kind of the video signals with different aspect ratios is provided in the feedback circuit 1, and a switch to change the whole capacitance of the feedback circuit 1 by switching by the converter 7 is provided in the feedback circuit 1.
