PURPOSE: To obtain the subject film comprising an organosiloxane, a diorganosilane hydrolysate, a silyl group-containing vinylic resin, a metal chelate compound and fine particles in specific amounts, respectively, and excellent in appearance, surface hardness, etc. CONSTITUTION: This film is produced by coating a composition on a substrate film. The composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. (converted to an organosiloxane) of the hydrolysate of the organosiloxane of formula: R Si(OR )3 (R is 18C organic group; R is H, 1-5C alkyl, etc.,) and/or its partial condensation product, (B) 0-150 pts.wt. (converted to a diorganosilane) of the diorganosilane of formula: R 1 Si(OR )2 , and/or its partial condensation product, (C) 2-300 pts.wt. of a silyl group-containing vinylic resin having Si atoms bound to hydrolyzable groups and/or hydroxyl groups, (D) 0.01-50 pts.wt. of a metal chelate compound such as tri-n-butoxy(ethylacetoacetato) zirconium, and (E) fine particles having a particle diameter of 5nm to 100μm in an amount of 5-200 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the other components.
