Summary:PURPOSE: To make an inner dimension of a box body correct by forming a notch in the thickness direction and a wedged opening at the base of the notch so as to set a fold of a paper product having a thickness of corrugated board to a correct position. CONSTITUTION: A forming blade 13 having a notching part 16 and a pressing part 15 is lowered onto a top face of a corrugated board 18 (sheetlike paper product) so as to form a notch 19 and a wedged opening 20 on the corrugated board 18 in one process step, and which is folded with the wedged opening 20 arranged inside. In this manner, a fold having a correct folded shape is formed at a correct position. Also, by using a fold forming device having the forming blade 13, the fold can be formed correctly and efficiently, so that a box body having a correct inner dimension can be obtained.
