Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition suitable for chemically bleaching stain found in fiber products, having excellent bleaching ability and shelf stability, containing a specific bleaching activator and sodium percarbonate coated with a specific coating agent. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) a compound of the formula (R is a 1-18C alkyl, alkenyl, alkanoyloxymethyl or phenyl; X is an anionic salt) (e.g. sodium 2-octanoyloxybenzenesulfonate or sodium 2-octanoyloxybenzoate) as a bleaching activator, (B) sodium percarbonate coated with a boron ion- containing coating agent [e.g. metaboric acid (sodium) or orthoboric acid (sodium)] in the ratio of preferably 0.1-25wt.% of the component A and 0.1-30wt.% of the component B, (C) 1-40wt.% of a crystalline aluminosilicate and (D) 1-40wt.% of an anionic surfactant.
