Summary:PURPOSE: To relax restrictions on the number of housings to be set or the arranging order thereof and to move a conveying member smoothly among the housings. CONSTITUTION: A guide rail 170 for guiding a moving body 180 is laid through openings 101-131 made through the facing surfaces of a plurality of housings 100-130. The moving body 180 is moved through magnetic interaction of a coil member 173 carried on the guide rail 170 and a magnet 184 disposed on the moving body 180 side. The guide rail 170 is tapered at the opposite end parts 172 thereof. Even when any one of the housings 100-130 is replaced or removed, the guide rail 170 remains in coupled state and the moving body 180 is moved smoothly through magnetic interaction. Consequently, restriction on the number of housings 100-130 to be installed or the arranging order thereof can be released. Furthermore, transfer on the guide rail 170 is made with no trouble thus realizing smooth movement of the moving body 180.
