Summary:PURPOSE: To execute stable electric discharge by electric discharge electrodes with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: The electric discharge electrodes 21 and a common electrode 23 connected to a high-voltage power source 22 are electrically connected via a resistor 25 and this resistor 25 is formed of resin film-like resistors having a two-layered structure. The heat generation of the resin film-like resistors 25 by energization of the high-voltage power source 22 is dispersed to prevent fusion by heat generation. The electric discharge stable over a long period of time is executed without increasing in the resistance value by the extension of the energization time of the high-voltage power source 22.
