Summary:PURPOSE: To remove the accumulated dust surely and eliminate the biased flow of combustion gas in a cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION: A gas inflow port 33, introducing combustion gas from an incinerating furnace, is formed at the upper part of the main body 31 of a vessel, forming a gas cooling chamber, while a duct 41, transferring the combustion gas, cooled by the injection of water in the vessel main body 31, into an air preheater, is opened at the lower part of the vessel main body 31. The end unit of the duct 41 is inserted into the vessel main body 31 from the side of the same. The inserting part is bent downwardly and a dust removing mechanism, removing dust adhered to the upper surface of the duct 41, is provided at the upper part of the inserting part of the duct 41. In this case, the center of the opening unit of the duct 41 is positioned at the center of the vessel main body 31.
