PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a coin delivering device as a whole without reducing the number of coins to be stored by providing the device with a detecting means for detecting the stacked state of coins and an agitating means for destroying and agitating the stacked coins. CONSTITUTION: The coin delivering device 1 is constituted of a hopper tank 2 for storing coins, a device body 3 for building a coin delivering part 5, etc., in it, and a control part 4 for integrating a control circuit. When coins are charged into the hopper tank 2, the coins are stacked like a mountain whose vertex is the coin dropping point. Space which is not filled with coins yet is formed on a part corresponding to the foot of the mountain-like stacked coins. When a coin is charged, the coin is detected by a count sensor 401, the detected result is cumulatively stored and a stacked state is judged. When the delivery of coins is not executed, a coin delivering disc is temporarily rotated in the reverse direction by a command front a control signal generating means. The stacked coins are destroyed by the reverse rotation, agitated and moved to the space on the foot part, so that the inside of the tank 2 can be effectively utilized.
