Summary: | PURPOSE: To suppress a parasitic vibration by a method wherein a plurality of capacitor element columns which are respectively composed of a plurality of capacitor elements which are connected in series to each other with resistance elements therebetween are provided and connected in parallel to each other and are housed in an insulating cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor device 10 is connected in parallel to the arc extinguish chamber 28 of a breaker. A number of capacitor elements 1 are respectively composed of capacitor elements 1a and resistance elements 1b which are connected to the capacitor elements 1a in series. A capacitor element column 2 is composed of the capacitor elements 1 which are connected in series to each other. A plurality of the capacitor element columns 2 which are connected in parallel to each other are housed in an insulating cylinder 3. Fixed electrodes 5 and 6 are attached to both the top and bottom ends of the insulating cylinder 3 with bolts 4 and the capacitor element columns 2 are mechanically supported and fixed by the fixed electrodes 5 and 6 and, further, are electrically connected to the fixed electrodes 5 and 6. Moreover, springs 7 arc provided between the fixed electrode 5 and the ends of the axial direction of the capacitor element columns 2 individually so as to correspond to the respective columns 2. |
