Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a current lead device with which deterioration of characteristics of the current lead, formed of an oxide superconductor can be prevented by an outside magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:The current lead device, having current leads 11a and 11b formed by oxide superconducting conductor, is provided with a magnetic shielding body 17, which is arranged surrounding the current leads 11a and 11b formed by the material selected from the material of small resistivity, the material of high permeability and a superconducting body, and means 14 and 15 with which the magnetic shielding body 17 is cooled down to the prescribed temperature.
