Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an exercise quantity display system which can enhance users' eagerness to have exercise through walking by sensuously informing users of the distance traveled and the calories consumed. CONSTITUTION:This exercise quantity display system comprises a step number memory 1 for storing the number of steps registered by a pedometer, a stride setting device 3, a display device 5, a storage device 6 in which at least map information is stored, and a controller 7 which reads the map information from the storage device 6 to display it in the display device 5, and which computes the distance traveled from the data stored in the step number memory 1 and that stored in the stride setting device 3, to simulatively display the distance on the map information in the display device 5.
