PURPOSE:To easily adjust the position of the antenna of the radio information management system by automatically measuring and displaying the communication range of the antenna. CONSTITUTION:When the communication range of the antenna 10 is measured, a communication range arithmetic means (central processing part) 17 sets the communication position of a data carrier 11 according to position data on the antenna 10 which is measured by antenna position measuring means 13 and 14 and a standard pattern stored in a standard pattern data storage means (data base) 17. Then data carrier moving means 15 and 16 move the data carrier 11 to the set communication position and a communication with the data carrier 11 is made through the antenna 10; and the communication results at the respective positions are inputted and the communication range of the antenna 10 is operated. Further, a communication range display means 18 displays the result on a screen. Consequently, the optimum relative positions of the antenna 10 and data carrier 11 are found over a look at the screen.
