PURPOSE:To suppress the disturbance of coolant in the upper plenum and variation on the free surface and prevent induction of babbles below the free liquid surface due to dip eddy. CONSTITUTION:In normal operation, coolant is ejected as a jet from an inlet nozzle 5 into coolant in the middle plenum 9 and impinged on an isolation wall 3 to let repulse for elevation. At this moment, the coolant is decelerated, straightened and made uniform by a horizontal perforation plate 10 and let rise in the upper plenum 4 coolant and therefore, the disturbance in the upper plenum 4 coolant and the variation in the free liquid surface are suppressed and the induction of babbles below the free liquid surface due to dip eddy is prevented.
