Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the safety of an anchor by previously insertfitting an examination member of the same material as anchor tension material in use, and pulling out only the examination member as occasion calls so as to examine the rust, corrosion and the like by visual observation. CONSTITUTION:In the tense state of anchor tension material 12 formed of PC steel stranded wire or the like, a ground anchor 10 is anchored to the ground. At this time, an examination member 14 (PC steel stranded wire) of the same material as the anchor tension material 12 of the ground anchor 10 is previously insert-fitted in the removable state into an anchor hole 18. For instance, the examination member 14 is insert-fitted using one through hole 28 among a series of through holes in an anchor head 24, and the examination member 14 is pulled out of the anchor hole 18 as occasion calls. The examination member 14 is directly examined by visual observation, and the soundness of the anchor tension material 12 formed of the PC steel stranded wire or the like is grasped by the state of rust, corrosion, damage, and the like of the examination member 14.
