Summary:PURPOSE:To exhibit a vibration suppressing function without making a mass body interfere with peripheral members by setting the flexural rigidity of an elastic supporting leg to be set up in an approximating position of the peripheral members to be relatively large enough, among three elastic supporting legs elastically supporting the mass body. CONSTITUTION:A vibration controller 1 is provided with a mounting plate 2, two elastic supporting legs 3 and a mass body 4, and it is installed tight on a top face of a bossed plate 7 welded to a boss 6 of a steering wheel. In this constitution, the mass lady 4 supported by these elastic supporting legs 3 and 3a is rocked in a direction of negating vibrations in the steering wheel to be amplified after transmitting a steering shaft 5. Incidentally, since one elastic supporting leg 3a is high enough in flexural rigidity as compared with other two elastic supporting legs 3, an amount of rocking motion is relatively little, so it will in no case interfere with adjacent peripheral members, and there is no noise occurring. Moreover, any superfluous member will not exist in the vibration suppressing device 1, so that it is arranged in compact in a setup space, and besides, miniaturization is thus achievable.
